Fairy tales are to be the inspiration for the Tickenham Village Church Christmas decorations this year. The Tickenham Parish Magazine has some suggestions to fire the imagination of would-be decorators, including tales from the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen.
The Tickenham WI Christmas lunch, will again be at Long Ashton Golf Club on Thursday, December 12th at 12.30pm for 1pm. The cost for two courses will be £24, three courses £27. Menu choices will be available at Meetings and payment can be made from October.
There won’t be a Yeo Valley Group Carol Service this year. Members are encouraged to attend the Avon Federation WI Carol Service which will be held on Wednesday, 11th December from 2-3pm at St John’s Church, Clevedon. Tickets £6 members, £8 non-members.
