The National Federation of Women’s Institutes has launched an inspiring podcast aimed at empowering women through in-depth campaign discussions, engaging stories from notable women, and fostering friendships. It promises:
“Deep dives into campaigns in the context of women’s lived experiences; inspiring chats with brilliant women; and all the fun and friendship we are known for (and not a pot of jam in sight!). Settle in, and join us for women inspiring and empowering women.”
The first edition of the Women’s Institute official podcast explored the challenges and opportunities as experienced by neurodivergent women. Pippa, Angela, and Debra – three neurodivergent women told their personal stories of seeking diagnosis, and finding passion and problem solving in their daily lives, as well as the importance of friendship and understanding. The podcast also included the Chair of the Women and Equalities Committee, Caroline Nokes MP, to listen to her policy making perspective.
